Pecan Pie Bars
Here’s a simple, delicious recipe for Pecan Pie Bars—all the flavor of Pecan Pie but easier to make and perfect for sharing around a campfire! 🥧🌰
Ingredients
For the crust
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened
- ¼ tsp salt
For the pecan filling
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups chopped pecans
- ¼ tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9×13 baking pan with parchment paper.
- Make the crust
In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, butter, and salt until crumbly.
Press evenly into the bottom of the pan. - Bake the crust
Bake for 15–18 minutes until lightly golden. - Prepare the filling
In another bowl whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and salt.
Stir in the pecans. - Assemble
Pour the pecan mixture over the hot crust. - Bake again
Bake for 25–30 minutes until the center is set. - Cool completely
Let cool before cutting into bars.

- Chocolate chips 🍫
- A drizzle of caramel
- Sprinkle of sea salt for salted pecan pie bars
